JOB TITLE: Concessions Staff
REPORTS TO: Food and Beverage
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Seasonal
POSITION PURPOSE: To operate concession area to the satisfaction of the customers and Food & Beverage management team. Provide highest-quality customer service to Conner Prairie’s guests.
NATURE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION: Job entails the set up, operation, and tear down of outdoor tents, mobile carts, and the concession stand. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: safe and responsible handling of Conner Prairie equipment, organized and sanitary operation of food & beverage outlets, courteous and professional interaction with outdoor event customers, honest and accurate operation of cash registers and credit card machines, and the open availability to assist with events which run anywhere from 12pm to 10pm April through October.

| Duties: | REQUIREMENTS & CONDITIONS: Candidate must be able and willing to work nights and weekends in an outdoor environment with the variable work and weather conditions that this will entail. Must be able to safely lift 50 pounds and work standing.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Take orders and produce food items to specifications
•Operate MICROS point of sales terminal
•Handle cash and credit cards
•Keep both concession position and surrounding area clean
•Adhere to Conner Prairie’s rules of conduct
•Other duties as assigned
