POSITION PURPOSE: To prepare food & beverage to meet the needs of Conner Prairie guests and provide exceptional customer service.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION: The individual in this position prepares daily menu items to meet the needs of our dining public. The position includes prep work before the restaurant opens, preparing sandwiches, salads, pizzas, etc., to the satisfaction of our guests, then clean up and closing the outdoor café at the end of the day. This position will also assist with catered event, concessions, and festival food booths at Conner Prairie as needed.
Duties:REQUIREMENT & CONDITIONS: Candidate must be able and willing to work standing, safely lift 50 pounds, work in an organized and sanitary fashion, and work safely and efficiently with attention to detail.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Prepare high quality made-to-order food items in a timely manner
•Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
•Accurately label, date, and rotate food products
•Perform opening prep work, make menu items, and end-of-day cleanup
•Assist in other F & B roles including expediting orders, delivering food, and dishwashing
•Adhere to Conner Prairie’s rules of conduct
•Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Proper work ethic, outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow and adhere to given instructions.
